"just do it" has been the motto at the "Congress Future Logistics" on 13-14 September in Dortmund, that was organized by the Fraunhofer-Institut für Materialfluss und Logistik IML and the EffizienzCluster LogistikRuhr. At the Exibition you could see the Bastiaen Cargo on the booth of Cargobike Dortmund. Cargo Bikes can be an environmend friendly an efficient element in the logistics chain of industry 4.0.

customesh, the 3D printed 21st century wickerwork and custer, the 3D printed furniture caster are presented at FurniPro Asia in Singapore from March 10th to 12th. The special exhibition area "3D Printing for the Furniture Industry" is curated by Sascha Peters from Haute Innovation. Many thanks for giving people over in asia a chance to experience our work.

At chinaplas 2014 Kautex Maschinenbau presents a fully reworked housing for the KCC series. The design is based on the design language developed by customind | Sven Bastiaen Schulz for the KBB series launched in 2013.

 

customesh is 21st century wickerwork. The laser sintered 3D-fabric can be used to refurbish old and new furniture and can be customized in pattern, gridsize contour and color. customesh is folded during production using a special algorithm, to occupy minimal space in the build chamber and be produced at a competetive price. Old and new furniture receive a contemporary look. customesh stretches to new horizons of furniture design

A visit at mgx on the IMM fair in Cologne. “We are always interested in new designs, as long as they are geometrically complex.” How can you better describe the dilemma inherent to "design for 3D printing"? The undercut as the reason to be. Is that the road ahead?
